We're Halfway There

We are only halfway through the legislative session, but Senate Republicans have already accomplished so much for the State of Colorado.

While Senators Baumgardner and Cooke were busy trying to fix Colorado roads without a tax increase, Senator Scott passed bills to promote all-of-the-above energy policy in the State of Colorado and enhance the 811 “Call Before You Dig” program.

Senator Smallwood went for a trifecta – increasing access to healthcare, reducing healthcare costs, and improving transparency in medical bills. And Senator Martinez Humenik’s bill to provide ongoing health benefits to the families of fallen officers has already been signed by the Governor.

Senate Republicans also worked to reduce the size of government, with Senators Crowder, Gardner, Lundberg, and Neville fighting to cut and repeal unnecessary fees and taxes. President Grantham and Senator Sonnenberg even passed a bill to reduce your state income taxes!

Republicans in the Senate are fighting to protect the interests of all Coloradans, but this is just the beginning. Make a contribution today to protect the Republican majority in the Colorado State Senate.
